Miss Folchert’s students filled up their token jar and got to wear their pajamas to school today along with having a stuffed animal! I am so proud of all their hard work in the classroom! #nppsd

Officer Johnson came to Bullpup Preschool today and shared with us about his job and how he is a community helper. I was so proud of my students. Mrs. Henline’s students were safe, respectful, responsible and smart. One student knew what POLICE spelled on Officer Johnson’s vest. Another student matched the American flag on his shirt to the flag displayed in the classroom. Early literacy is definitely happening every day at Bullpup Preschool! @nppsd

We are learning about community helpers. Last week we had fun using puppets to tell where we would find the community helper and what tools the community helper needs. We practice being construction workers and built with blocks. Had a great time playing in the snow and had fun with the parachute! Looking forward to more fun in Mrs. Altig’s class this week.

Congratulations, Russ Hoatson, North Platte Public School District Employee of The Month. We are thankful to have you on our team.

Here is a sneak peek at what we did last week in Mrs. Payne's classroom last week. We worked on making shapes and learned that two numbers added together creates a new number! We also got some cool new building toys we got to explore with. We love to learn and grow ❤️

Ice, reading to a friend, voting, resting — all important parts of this Monday in Mrs. Henline’s class! @nppsd

Mrs. Chromy's preschool class loves to play in the snow!

Winter weather in the Midwest can be unpredictable, and conditions can go from mild to harsh within a few short hours. It is important that we prepare in advance so that we are ready when winter weather strikes.

Mrs.Chromy's preschool class is beginning to learn about our community and community helpers. The preschoolers enjoyed playing diner in the dramatic play area, as they learned to order from a menu, take orders and cook for their friends.

While we play we learn. Students built with new blocks. I love hearing my students excited about what they are making. These are just a few things I heard students say this week!
“I made a ring with play dough!”
“Mrs. Altig, I found the letter C!”
“Look what I made!”
