Title IX: No person in the United States shall, on the basic of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance"

Title IX Policy

Policy No. 2006 ‘A’

It is the policy of the school district that no person shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from
participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subject to discrimination under any of the school
district’s programs or activities. The district is required by Title IX (20 U.S.C. § 1681) and 34
C.F.R. part 106 to not discriminate in such a manner.

Complaint Procedure

Policy No. 2006

Filing Formal Complaint: An employee or student can allege sexual harassment by filing a formal complaint in writing with the Title IX Coordinator in person or by mail, or by electronic mail using the following contact information:

The formal complaint must be signed by the complainant or by the Title IX Coordinator. The following procedures apply only in the event that a formal complaint is filed. All other allegations of sexual harassment Shall be resolved using the general complaint procedure. Any timelines set forth in the following procedures may be extended by the Title IX Coordinator with notice to the parties.
