Mrs. Altig’s class has been busy remembering classroom routines, noticing a new calendar, setting the tables, and helping friends. The holiday break was fun but these students were ready to be back at school.
What a great full week back at Jefferson preschool! We opened up our veterinarian clinic this week. We also learned about artic animals and got to play with some in our sensory table. We also did a fun art project after reading our book, " The Mitten" by Jan Brett. And most of all, we loved learning through play :) #nppsd

Merry Christmas from Mrs. Altig’s class! 🎄🎁🥰
When it is too cold to go outside we play duck, duck goose, red light green light, and yoga. Indoor recess in Mrs. Altig’s room.
Making Christmas cards for North Platte Care Center, decorating cookies, and making candy canes to hang on the Christmas tree. Mrs. Altig’s class has been getting into the Christmas spirit the last few weeks!
Mrs. Altig’s class had fun decorating Christmas trees, writing letters to Santa, and exploring what Christmas items stuck to magnets during center time this month!

What a fun last day before break at Jefferson preschool! We played a game were we had to find our elves hiding in the classroom and then we won a prize! We also got to frost and decorate our own cookies, have a snack and watch a movie, and end our day with some holiday movement songs! I hope you all have a great holiday season 🎄❄️
