North Platte Public Schools will be dismissing students at 2:30 on Wednesdays for the 2024/2025 school year. This early dismissal will provide extra opportunities for our teachers to collaborate, to share ideas, and to plan for the best instruction to engage your student in their learning journey. In order for our school to create a plan for families unable to pick up their students at the 2:30 pm dismissal time, we are asking families to let us know in advance so we can get a general number of how many students will need supervision from 2:30 until 3:20. We will want to staff our supervision accordingly to this number. We understand that the earlier dismissal time may present a challenge of picking up your child.
Attached are directions for signing your students up for our Wednesday After School Supervision on the Parent Portal, if your child needs Wednesday afternoon supervision. The registration should be filled out as soon as possible, so we can continue to move forward with our plan to support our students. If your students are in Kids Klub, you won’t sign up for Wednesday After School Supervision. We appreciate your time, and enjoy the rest of your summer!
