We asked grade-level teachers to watch this week and submit the names of their top 2 students in class who are following the school and classroom expectations the absolute best.
This morning, they were surprised with their very own Wash⭐️Bucks hot cocoas!

Presenting your Washington Students of the 3rd Quarter and Pride of H.E.A.R.T. award recipients!! Congratulations to these safe, kind, respectful, responsible, positive influences! We're so proud of all our Wildcats! After these awards, all students celebrated with a fun hoola hoop challenge, working together with their classmates!





Last Friday, Mr. Ferguson arranged one heck of a school-wide assembly game after we announced Students of the Quarter and Mrs. Simmons' Pride of H.E.A.R.T. awards! Here are the hoola hoop game photos. See facebook for some videos. These kids are QUICK!

HUGE shoutout to Mrs. Mohr and our district's INCREDIBLE Art teacher, Miss Conner! Miss Conner teaches Art at every elementary school in our district. She and Mrs. Mohr planned and ran a brilliant ART NIGHT at Washington last night! Glow paint, chalk art, clay projects, and more!! What a fun night!

Sooey!! Washington's 3rd Graders had a special guest today! Educational Specialist, Miss Kammerer with the Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation, visited and taught them all about pig habitats during Science!!






Washington students have the option to enter into a coloring contest that will kick off at Art Night on Thursday, March 21st. The coloring page is a creation designed by the author Bruce Arant that was here to visit with students earlier this month. Students can turn in their coloring page to the office. One student from each grade level will be chosen as the winner and earn a prize.

Today is Prize Day. These Wildcats were caught being Safe, Kind, Respectful, Responsible, Positive Influences over the last two weeks. Keep up the good work, kids!




Washington's 5th Grade Ambassadors have worked all year on developing goals - educational, character identity, aspirations, and more! This week, we are finishing up some awesome vision boards to remind us to chase those dreams!
