They're learning the appropriate steps needed to grow, reduce, reduce, and recycle materials! Compost is FUN! Washington had TWO classes earn an Attendance ROCKS reward today!! Miss Clark's 1st graders got to wear their favorite hats to school and Mrs. McIntosh's students got to bring their favorite stuffed animal friend for the day! Each class has an Attendance ROCKS poster in their room. Each day every student in the class is present, they color in a letter. When the poster is full, the class gets a reward!! They worked with KUBO Robots, Problem-Solving Games, Stop Motion Video, Innovator Kits, and OzBots. There were guest speakers from the high school and Bridge of Hope. We are partnering with Bridge of Hope to collect donations for our community service project. Be on the lookout for more information on how you can support your local HAL students.
