Mrs. Altig’s class had a busy week last week. We practiced writing letters and counted how many pumpkins tall each child is. We also practiced problem solving using a timer to take turns. We talked about how putting your hat over your heart when saying the pledge is respectful. #NPPS

Jefferson preschoolers love pumpkins! We used our senses to touch, see, smell, and hear a pumpkin (got to explore the sound of tapping the side of a pumpkin). We also got to make predictions on which pumpkin or gourd would weigh more or less on our scales. 🎃
Crazy Hair and Clothes were a success on Wednesday! We had so much fun dressing up all week long in Miss Folchert’s class and wish we could be this silly every day #nppsd

Jefferson preschoolers are having a lot of fun already this week with our dress up days! So far we had a mix- up day and then today was our pj day. We also have a lot of fun during our center time in which we get to make choices on where we want to play and learn at. Some of our choices are the listening center, fine motor workout, our math center following Halloween recipe cards, and a fun Halloween Sensory tub experience.
Jefferson preschoolers have been hard at work and have been learning so much! Last week we made patterns with different fall items and we got to identify and make shapes using candy corn (and of course eat a few along the way 😃)

Mrs Carters class worked hard this week! Spin, build, write the letter. Fine motor activities to make our hands stronger. Count and clip and write the room counting spiders. And to top it off our field trip to Dusty’s Pumpkin Fest!

Jefferson preschool had an amazing time at Dusty Trails! We had a great time with all of our friends. We went on a horse wagon ride to pick out a pumpkin, played in the corn pit, and went on tractor rides Thank you so much Mr. Dusty and all his workers!

Mrs. Chromy's preschool class is learning their letters by writing their letters and building their letters. We are learning through music and movement and learning about measurement by measuring their friends. "How many pumpkins tall?"
