In Miss Folchert’s classroom, we worked hard this week on practicing our fine motor skills, making shapes with Playdoh, baking delicious pies, and testing whether items were magnetic or not! They are learning and growing so much! #nppsd

The hot drink cafe is now open at Jefferson preschool 😊! We also had fun at our gift wrapping station; making holiday stew; and reading to our classroom gingerbread men. Oh what fun it is to be a Jefferson preschooler :)

On Tuesday High School students brought in lessons they planned for the preschoolers! One activity was a pretend ocean. The students loved finding the animals in the bags. The other activity was pretend snow in a bag. Mrs. Altig’s class loved it!!! #NPPS
Jefferson preschoolers have been getting ready for colder weather lately. This past week we played in magic snow; counted the amount of marshmallows to put in our hot cocoa; wrote our names using marshmallows; and bundled up to go outside and use our imagination to create recipes in our outdoor kitchen. We had a lot of fun this week :)

Mrs.Chromy's preschool class enjoyed having NPHS students from the Early Childhood Education Class do special activities with them. Ashton and Afia brought Christmas coloring sheets, read dinosaur books and the preschoolers enjoyed playing with colorful shaving cream.
Magic happens every day in a preschool classroom. Magic looks different for every child and that is something to celebrate. Mrs. Henline’s Classroom. @nppsd
