In an enormous act of generosity, U.S. Cellular presented a gift to North Platte Public Schools that helps its young musicians. The gift of $5000 provided by the U.S. Cellular’s “Gifts of Connection” supported the North Platte Public Schools Foundation to purchase musical instruments and supplies for the PK-12 music program. Instruments in schools help give all students opportunities for exposure to playing music which is not only beneficial to the kids, but also the community as students frequently share their talents during performances throughout the year. Registration for children enrolling in preschool or kindergarten at North Platte Public Schools for the 2024/2025 school year will open December 11, 2023. Preschool registration is open to those who are 4 years of age on or before July 31, 2024 (birthdays from 8/1/2019 - 7/31/2020). Kindergarten registration is open to those who are 5 years of age on or before July 31, 2024 (birthdays from 8/1/2018 - 7/31/2019).
It is the expectation that parents will enroll their children in their resident boundary school. If your child is currently enrolled in Bullpup Preschool, you do not need to complete an online registration form for kindergarten enrollment.

Kindergarten roundup will give parents and children the opportunity to visit their school and teacher March 19th at a time to be determined. To register your child, you may visit the North Platte Public Schools website at nppsd.org, or visit the Welcome Center at 301 West F St Monday - Friday from 7:30 am - 3:30 pm, or by appointment.

NPHS Mobile Food Pantry Tuesday, December 12th! Please start the line outside the school parking lot next to the tennis courts. Do not come into the parking lot prior to the semi unloading of the distribution items. This is an open air, drive thru distribution. Patrons will drive their car through a line, and volunteers will bring boxed food to the car. Free of charge. 325 households will be served on a first come, first serve basis. The Food Bank of the Heartland sponsors the Food Pantry.
