Your students are invited to engage in an exciting summer health academy provided by Great Plains Health and North Platte Public Schools. See below for more details.
Empowering middle school students to learn more about the multiple careers in Health Sciences. This summer, three 1/2 day Academy will explore all aspects of healthcare. Students will engage in simulations to discover the many different healthcare fields. Each student will fill out a job shadow form for their time at the Great Plains Health. Space is limited to 30. Registration closes June 30th or when full.
Students who participate will:
· engage in opportunities of interest rich in creativity
· develop critical thinking and inquiry skills
· improve listening skills
· enhance collaboration and team-building skills
This academy is open to all NPPS 2022-2023 6th, 7th, or 8th-grade students.

Thanks parents for coming to the Little Feet Meet to let the students teach you a few activities.
Youth Bulldog Soccer Camp
Come Join the Bulldog Soccer coaches along with NPHS Boys and Girls Bulldog soccer players for 3 days of soccer drills, games, and fun! To increase soccer skills, learn something new, and have a blast.
When: June 14th - 16th
Who: Boys Girls entering 2nd - 9th grade
Time:
Grades 2nd - 5th | 9:30am - 11:00am
Grades 6th - 9th | 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Cost: $40
(cost includes camp t-shirt)
Location: Madison Middle School soccer complex (boys will be on the west field and girls on the east field)
What to bring: age appropriate ball & water bottle.

Your child will bring home this paper today explaining an awesome opportunity being offered this summer for parents and guardians!
Boys Town had such a great response from their last “Common Sense” parenting class that we have been asked to provide it again… and so we’d like to see if there are parents interested in a summer option! It will be virtual, once a week, which makes it easy to access wherever the summer days take you!
