To help you prepare for the OPEN house and for the school year, please familiarize yourself with the return to school plan that was approved by the school board on Monday, August 9th,
The Return to School plan is posted @nppsd.org. Here are some of the essential details to be familiar with:
For students who are fully vaccinated, face coverings are OPTIONAL. For students who are not fully vaccinated, face coverings are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.
Volunteers, Visitors, and Families at School During Regular School hours (including Kids Klub hours): Volunteers, visitors, and families are welcome in our school buildings as long as they wear a face covering at all times. For volunteers, visitors, and families who are fully vaccinated, face-coverings are REQUIRED. At this time, visitors are not permitted to eat lunch in the cafeteria and no outside fast food deliveries will be permitted.
Events Outside of Regular School Hours, For volunteers, visitors, and families who are fully vaccinated, face-coverings are OPTIONAL. For volunteers, visitors, and families who are not fully vaccinated, face-coverings are REQUIRED. We will follow NSAA guidance for sanctioned events.
Open House TOMORROW @ Lincoln. Starting at 5:30 will be a kindergarten parent meeting with Open House to follow for grades 1-5 from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. We are excited to see your smiling faces! Come see your classroom, meet the teacher, be entered for a drawing, and get ready to GROW with us!

We will “grow” together this year. We learned how to put together a bouquet of flowers today. Thank you to the Sarah Talbott from the Flower Market for coming in to teach us!

Welcome Back Lincoln Lions. Please Mark your calendars this Thursday for our Open house from 5:30 to 6:00 we invite kindergarten families to attend an informational meeting in our gym. 6-7 open house, we invite you to all to come and see your child’s classroom and meet their teacher. The first day of school is Monday, August 16th for all 1st -5th graders. Kg families - remember that we have Project Kg the first part of the week and your child has a specially assigned day. You should be receiving a letter from your child’s teacher in the mail prior to open house. I hope you had an amazing summer. I can’t wait to see all your smiley faces!

Project Connect is a one-day, one-stop, drive-thru event where individuals and families can access a wide variety of services and on-hand items.
Coordinated by: Items on hand include - Backpacks, school supplies, non-perishable food items, hygiene products & cleaning products.
Bring your mobile device for quick access to our Resource Directory to help guide you in finding services to meet your needs.
There will be NO mobile pantry on August 10th!
We will partner with Project Connect on August 3rd at 1 pm at North Platte High School.
Along with the regular mobile food boxes, produce, and milk, we will be handing out backpacks filled with school supplies for NPPSD students. This process might take longer than the regular mobile so please come prepared with extra water as it will be hot.
