The NPPS Foundation is kicking off Back 2 School Bash Week on Monday, thanks to FNBO and Weathercraft Roofing along with many other sponsors.
Monday is Change Wars at all elementary and pre k buildings. Teachers will have jars, baggies or some type of collection containers for students to bring in change. Money raised goes back to the buildings and REACH grants.
PRIZES: $250 goes for a classroom makeover for with the most money raised
$500 for the elementary school that raises the most
$125 for 2nd and 3rd place elementary schools
Tuesday-Dine out to Donate--Supports all schools
Wednesday-Online Auction will open with NPHS parking in front up for grabs
Remember the Backyard BBQ is Friday! The 2020-2021 Staff Awards will occur around 6pm. $10 adults and $5 students.
Education After Hours is Friday $25 tickets-ticket sales goes to a scholarship for a senior for the "2023 Future Distinguished Alumni" scholarship.

TOGETHER AS A COMMUNITY, WE ARE BRINGING A NEW PLAYGROUND TO NORTH PLATTE, NEBRASKA. It all began with an idea. Designed by kids. To be built for kids of all ages and abilities. Inspiring endless play! Now, five days with tools in hand, it's time to build a playground in Centennial Park! And we need volunteers to make it happen! We have a job for everyone - no matter your skill level! The Return to School plan is posted @nppsd.org. Here are some of the essential details to be familiar with:
For students who are fully vaccinated, face coverings are OPTIONAL. For students who are not fully vaccinated, face coverings are STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.
Volunteers, Visitors, and Families at School During Regular School hours (including Kids Klub hours): Volunteers, visitors, and families are welcome in our school buildings as long as they wear a face covering at all times. For volunteers, visitors, and families who are fully vaccinated, face-coverings are REQUIRED. At this time, visitors are not permitted to eat lunch in the cafeteria and no outside fast food deliveries will be permitted.
Events Outside of Regular School Hours, For volunteers, visitors, and families who are fully vaccinated, face-coverings are OPTIONAL. For volunteers, visitors, and families who are not fully vaccinated, face-coverings are REQUIRED. We will follow NSAA guidance for sanctioned events.
