We are so excited to invite ALL North Platte students and staff to our summer picture days – every grade, every building, every person! Choose from three dates and hundreds of time options to schedule your family's school picture session at the North Platte High School commons area. A week or two after your pictures are taken, you'll get an email with instructions to view your images and order online – that means no paper order forms to remember, and no paying for pictures before you see them. Getting school pictures taken this summer will not only save you time, but allows parents to be part of the fun (and ensures guardian-approved smiles!). Plus, secondary students who see us this summer will have an updated photo on their school IDs. Summer Food & Nutrition Services The North Platte Public School District Food & Nutrition Services program will provide an opportunity for our community families to drive through and pick up breakfast and lunch meals for the children in their families. Meal pick-up will be available at Adams Middle School during the month of June. Meals are available for children 1 year to 18 years of age at no charge, children do not have to be enrolled at NPPSD Adults may pick up meals for children, children are not required to be in the vehicle when meals are picked up Meals can be picked up between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., every Thursday in June Thursday, June 3rd Thursday, June 10th Thursday, June 17th Thursday, June 24th To pick up meals, please enter the front driveway of Adams Middle School, off of Francis Street, and proceed to the meal pick up area, signs will mark the way You will be asked to record your children’s names on the pick-up register prior to receiving your meals. (7 days of breakfast and 7 days of lunch meals will be distributed) This program will be solely for the pickup of meals and meals are not to be consumed on-site. We encourage families to continue to be proactive in reducing the risk of COVID-19, continue to wash your hands often, sneeze or cough into a tissue and stay home if you are sick. Thanks to all of our families who came to the Buffalo Early Learning Center for our Little Feet Meet. It was a great way to end the year in our Outdoor Classroom. Thanks to Special Olympics Nebraska for your sponsorship of this great event!

On Monday the students had a virtual field trip about bubbles. Therefore yesterday at our Little Feet Meet we had to have a bubble exploration station so we could have more bubble fun!

Medication Pick Up Reminder!! In order to ensure the safety of students, medications will not be sent home with students. All medications, including inhalers, & Epipens that have been brought to school must be picked up by a parent/guardian/adult by 3:30 PM on Tuesday, May 18. Medications that have not been picked up by the last day of school will be disposed of by the nurse on May 19. Thank you. Student Health Services

As we prepare our students for kindergarten next year, today the students at the Buffalo Early Learning Center were able to eat lunch in the gym. The students did so well! Thanks to Sodexo for making this transition activity happen!
