Caterpillars, chrysalis, butterfly;Mrs. Altig’s class learned about metamorphosis! It was so fun to watch the process! We let our butterflies go on Thursday!
Last week Mrs. Altig’s class planted grass, played an alphabet game, and explored sand, dirt, and rocks!
FUTURE KINDERGARTENERS is all I have to say! Jefferson preschoolers got a chance to do a bump up day and join the Kindergarteners for part of the day! The kindergarteners were great helpers and showed the preschoolers the ropes of what it means to be a big Kindergartener :)
Mrs.Chromy's class was so excited to watch the process of our caterpillars change into butterflies and take flight into the big world.

Today Miss Folchert’s class did a fun shaving cream activity! We wrote our names, drew shapes, and letters!
What makes Mrs. Henline’s teacher heart happy? To name a few things……picture blocks on a ship, butterfly observing, rest time teacher assisting, a drawing for a friend with dictated writing.
Today in Miss Folchert’s class we got to go to PE with the 1st graders and release our Butterflies with the 3rd graders! We had a blast!

Yesterday, Miss Folchert’s class got to celebrate earning all of their tokens by wearing pajamas and bringing their stuffed animal to school! I am so proud of all their hard work this year!
The morning preschoolers had an amazing day! We got to release the butterflies outside! we learned that these butterflies will help the flowers around us grow by pollinating the flowers 🦋

When we need a break, we do a dance break and we LOVE doing the Tooty-Ta!
Our new unit in preschool is focusing on the univserse and the solar system. We have been examining and exploring planets and even have done some fun number identification with rolling the dice and covering that number up with a little planet :) Ask us about the gas giants and the ice giants🪐
Hello! It has been awhile since I have posted, so let us get up to date:) Jefferson Preschoolers had so much fun at Dusty Trail's a few weeks ago! We got to pet animals, make smores, go on a wagon ride, and learned how to brush and take care of animals! We had a blast! Be on the look out for more Jefferson updates :)
