Adams Middle School- Hold Today
At approximately 11:55 we had a student have a behavioral health emergency, for the sake of her privacy we placed the school in a Hold. Law Enforcement was contacted and the situation was resolved at 12:20 at which time we lifted the hold. If you have any additional questions or concerns feel free to reach out.

CONGRATULATIONS to Penelope Simpson (Trumpet) and Julia Ivanovych (Trombone) for auditioning and being selected for the NSBA 8th Grade All State Band!! There were a total of 444 auditions from 77 schools across Nebraska auditioning for this group, and 93 students from 47 schools were selected!
Adams Band Halloween JAMboree!
8th gIrls basketball sign ups will be Tuesday, 10/15 after school in room 322.
7th girls basketball sign ups will be Wednesday, 10/16 after school in the gym.
Boys wrestling sign ups will be Wednesday, 10/16 after school in the cafeteria.
Basketball try-outs will begin October 22nd.
Wrestling practice will start October 22nd also.

Reminder to Adams & Madison Parents: September 4th will be a noon dismissal. This is only for Adams and Madison schools.
Due to lightning in the vicinity, the Middle School/High School cross country meet at Oregon Trail Golf Course in Sutherland will have a delayed start. As of now, the race is set to start at 9:45 am. Weather will continue to be monitored closely.

After evaluating the bus route in the morning we will be changing the times to support students and staff in a smoother transition between buildings.
6th grade students
Parents will need to drop off the student by 7:20a.m as the departure time is 7:25 a.m.
Students will load on the west side of Adams as the bus will be parked in the horse shoe instead of by Rm 702.
Students will be checked in and then board the bus.
7th & 8th grade students
Parents will need to drop off the student at Madison by 7:35 a.m as the departure time is 7:40 a.m.

Football- Thursday, 8/15- 8th grade in room 210, 7th grade in the gym
Volleyball- Thursday, 8/15- both 7th and 8th grade will be in the cafeteria.
**These sign up meetings are only for students. Students interested in playing sports will need to attend the sign up meetings.
