Not Too Late To Enroll - 2027 DC Trip

Dear 7th grade parents,

If you missed Monday night's informational meeting for the Washington D.C. school trip in the summer of 2027, it's not too late to enroll!

We have an awesome group of almost 50 students and parents already enrolled and there is still time to get on the roster! The $500 Early-Bird Scholarship pricing has been re-opened for the next 48 hrs for anyone who might have missed the meeting due to other conflicts.

🎉💥 BLITZ Day at Adams! 💥🎉
Today we kicked off our very first ICU BLITZ Day and our Bulldogs brought the energy! 🐾🔥
Students worked hard, finished assignments, and crushed goals while staff cheered them on. 💪📚 Every BLITZ Day is a chance to show that no assignment is too tough and no Bulldog is left behind!
We’re so proud of the effort, teamwork, and grit our Adams students showed today. 💙

🐾 Adams Middle School – ICU FAQ 🐾

💻 Why do I keep getting ICU emails?
Every time your student is added to the ICU list, you’ll get a notification. Once the work is completed satisfactorily, you’ll get an update!

📚 Why hasn’t my student been assigned ICU time?
ICU is an opportunity, not a punishment! Students can choose to complete missing/redo assignments at school during ICU times or at home. Please check in with your student about their plan for getting it done!

⏰ Does my student HAVE to attend ICU time?
No. They may complete the work at home. The goal = getting the work done, not where it happens.
📝 What if my student says they turned it in?
Teachers must grade the assignment first. If it’s done correctly, the student is removed from the list, and you’ll get an email. If not, they’ll stay on the list until it’s satisfactory.

🚫 ICU List vs. Ineligibility List – What’s the difference?
ICU List: Missing or redo assignments.
Ineligibility List: Students failing 2+ classes. Runs Thursday–Wednesday, may affect activity participation.

📍 ICU Times:
Morning: 7:35–7:50 AM – Room 111
Lunch: Bring lunch & work to Room 701
After School: Room 100

The cross-country meet scheduled for tomorrow in Hastings has been postponed to Thursday due to the forecasted weather in Hastings. The athletes WILL NOT be meeting in the morning @ 6:45 due to the postponement and will attend school.
