Yesterday evening, our Washington Student Ambassadors had the honor of being a "Spotlight" at the North Platte Public School Board meeting. The Ambassadors' Council members represented both the Ambassadors team and school very well! They shared a little about what our Ambassadors do throughout the school year and their hopes for the future. These students take joy and pride in both serving and representing Washington. We are proud of how they're growing and developing their leadership skills and can't wait to see them continue to lead in greater arenas as the years go on! We are proud of this team! Thank you for representing tonight, ladies! You did a great job! #WashingtonOhana #WildcatEra #AmbassadorsLead #GrowingUpTogether #BrightFutures

Washington's Ambassadors are dreaming BIG! We've begun visualizing these dreams by way of vision boards. These beauties will eventually hang in their rooms to remind them of the goals they're chasing.

Good morning and happy Monday!
This is your friendly reminder that the No-Sale Fundraiser Forms are due by the end of this week.
Have a great start to your week, Wildcat Ohana!

Hello, Wildcat Parents! We're having a day of "quick reminders" but this is an important one.
Please remind your students they are not to approach the fence during recess to talk with adults, even relatives or adult friends. One major safeguard we have in place is teaching them to focus on playing with classmates during recess, in bounds.
We have various staff (and sometimes substitute teachers) who monitor our students during recess. It can be a major concern if we have adults approaching students at the fence line. Not all staff know who the parents are, which can cause distress. It also teaches other kids that it's normal and okay to talk with adults through the fence. The school has fantastic neighbors who also keep an eye on our students and make calls when they see possible concerns (adults interacting through the fence with students).
We realize that talking to your own child through the fence doesn't directly cause harm but it does cause other safety issues. If you need to connect with your kiddos at school, the front office is open and there is also the option of coming for lunch at times.
Thank you for helping us create a safe and secure recess atmosphere for our favorite kids!
