It’s amazing what a PE teacher can do with black lights and glow markers. Thanks Miss Blake for for transforming our gym into a Cosmic Bowling Alley!

We will still take Junk Food Donations for tomorrow night.

Hello, Wildcat families!!
Mrs. Simmons’ 5th grade leadership team did something new and exciting this year for Red Ribbon Week. They used the official Drug Free theme to design a wall decoration for the school to celebrate and teach fellow students how to celebrate life in a healthy, drug-free way.
They’ve been entered into a photo contest! If we win, Washington will be given a monetary prize!! Please vote and share on social media so all your friends can also vote! We are so proud of our Wildcats and hope to represent NPPS well!!

Washington Wildcats are teaming up against drugs!

Our Wildcat futures are drug free and BRIGHT! #redribbonweek2022

Today we had our 2nd Team Huddle where K-5th grade students and siblings when possible, got together to make some fall art.

Wildcats think, “Doing Drugs is Crazy!” #redribbonweek2022

Washington has kids excited about learning with a Halloween room transformation. Once tasks are completed students get a TRICK-mystery box of goblin guts or spider legs or a TREAT-candy or Halloween stickers.

Howdy, Wildcat families!
We LOVE to see our students dressing up each day in celebration of living drug-free lives. Thanks for helping them with their creativity!! The boots and western wear today are reminding us to give drugs the BOOT!
Here are some freebie family supper conversation starters for this evening:
(K-2nd graders) How do you know if it’s safe to eat food or candy?
(We talked about how safe food and candy will come in a wrapper, sealed with a label OR homemade and given to us by a trusted adult).
(3rd-5th graders) How do you celebrate life in a healthy, drug-free way?
(We talked about time with family, games, friend time, sports, music, etc.)
See you all tomorrow with your crazy hair and outfits!
