All About Boundaries!!
Hello, Wildcat families!
Today in Mrs. Simmons’ Guidance class, we talked about all types of boundaries and how boundaries help to keep us safe.
One boundary we have at school is the fence around the playground. That boundary keeps us on the playground, away from fast cars and strangers. Knowing and staying inside that boundary line keeps us safe!
We talked about physical, emotional, online, and body boundaries that help keep us safe. My challenge to them was to go home and talk with their trusted adults about family rules (boundaries) that keep them safe AND what to do if someone tries to get us to go “out of bounds.”
Please talk with your kiddos so they know your family rules and how to keep safe. We had a BUNCH of great answers about family rules and who they ask for help. Keep those awesome conversations happening at home! You’re all doing a great job raising incredible young humans.
