Both NPHS film projects took home the top award at the Spirit Film Festival.
Water War won best documentary. It was produced by Grady Sexson, edited by Logan Streeter, and directed by Logan Streeter, Kourtnie Bokoski, and Jonathan Dekleva.
Chat GPT won best comedy. It was made by Joey Richardson, Logan Streeter, Caleb Kinkaid, and River Johnston.
Logan Streeter was offered a Special Abilities financial incentive as an outstanding director and editor to attend Wayne State College.
Chloe placed 8th in advertising and Mia placed 4th in yearbook feature writing at state journalism!

Water War: The Perkins County Canal Project
In this video, NPHS students explore plans to dig a canal into Colorado to capture water from the South Platte River. The project stems from a provision in a 100-year-old water compact.

Break A Leg!
Breanna Lundgreen and Carly Purdy, have been selected to participate in a call-back audition for the National High School Musical Theatre Awards, Sunday, April 23, in Omaha.

These kids knocked it out of the park today at the UNC Jazz Fest! They received a superior rating and Carly and Josh received Outstanding Soloist Awards! Great day for the music department!

Carly Purdy and Breanna Lundgreen have both made it to round 2 for potentially being selected as one of the two Nebraska representatives to the Jimmy Awards (much like the Tonys). They will go to Omaha this Sunday for their call back audition. Best wishes on this next step.
