The North Platte High School’s Theatre Department will present their competition one act production, After the War, December 2nd at 7:00 p.m. at the NPHS Performing Arts Center.
Exclusively adapted from the award winning middle grade book by British author, Tom Palmer, After the War tells the story of Yossi and his friends Mordecai and Leo as they navigate life after the liberation of the concentration camps at the end of World War II. Based on true events and stories from survivors, this play is not one to miss.
A free will donation will be taken at the door. Come help us pack the PAC as they prepare for their district competition.

This last weekend, we had eight NPHS student participate in the prestigious ALL-STATE MUSIC concerts in Lincoln. Brett P, Naomi D, Quintin L, Hannah H, Finnley E, Keirra F, Carter B-F, and Henry C , we are so proud of each of you!!

Today we had a special visitor in our welding shop! Layton Moss, former NPHS welding student and now a welder in Gillette, Wyoming, stopped by to share his welding journey with our students.
Layton talked about his path after high school, showcased some of the projects he’s worked on, provided general welding advice, and even treated the class to a couple of impressive TIG welding demonstrations.

Mr. Zogg's Transportation class took a field trip to visit various shops and manufactures. Starting off the day was Fessler Tire and Auto in North Platte Premier Toyota in North Platte. They also visited Blueprint Machine in Kearney, Performance Truck and Trailer in Gothenburg, Gator Road Repair In Gothenburg.







100% of NPHS freshmen have completed their YouScience assessments. They are now onto completing the classroom lessons in their Bulldog Times. This is a great opportunity for our students to discover their strengths, explore their interests and create future goals.


Today, the NPHS Play Production wrapped up it's regular season in Holdrege and brought home the following awards:

The NPHS Play Production team traveled to Kearney for their invitational and came home with some serious hardware! Our outstanding performers were Henry Cline, Brett Pfeifer, Carter Barnason-Foster, Isabella Frazier, Finnley Eickhoff, Camie Bertschinger, Laci North, Joselynn Eyten, Ben Carhart, Katelynn McNeel, and Asher Strecker. Winning Outstanding Male Performer was Finnley Eickhoff and Henry Cline and winning Outstanding Female Performer was Isabella Frazier. We won Best Technical in the Gold Bracket and were are also your Gold Bracket Champions!!!

Today, our career center has transformed into the "Scholarship Café". Members of the senior class, supported by our counseling team, are applying for scholarships through our local foundation as well as completing FAFSA. If your child was unable to attend, please have them connect with our counseling team. The next date is February 6th.

The NPHS Student Council Canned Food Drive has started and will run until November 14th. This event brings in tens of thousands of food items for North Platte and Lincoln County food banks. These food items are made available to families in need here in our area. These families include friends, neighbors, and fellow classmates, so please start bringing in items for the North Platte High Canned Food Drive. All items will be brought to students' Bulldog Time classroom. This is a competition between grades and Bulldog Time classes. Winning grade will receive a noon dismissal on December 19th.
