The floors in the commons area at the High School are being waxed this week. If students need to access the building, they will need to do so through the Southeast doors by the weight room. The main entrance will be accessible again on Monday the 24th.

Summer pictures are back – and they’re especially important for incoming seniors! Nebraska Portraits will be taking booster club banner (commons area), senior athlete showcase calendar, and yearbook/ID photos these days. No need for separate appointments, just make one for your senior (or whole family) and we’ll get everything done at that one time. Here are some important notes: Booster Club Senior Banners (Commons Area) Banners are available for all seniors – however, only banners with activities will be hung in the commons. Requirements for including an activity on your banner: lettered, active for two years, or participating as a senior. Banner photos will be taken during summer school picture days, Aug 1-2 at NPHS. Photos MUST be taken during these dates or via appointment with Nebraska Portraits prior to Aug 1. No orders will be taken after Aug 2. You must wear a plain white shirt that follows the dress code. Senior Showcase Calendar This is an opportunity for senior athletes to showcase their favorite sport and be featured on the calendar distributed throughout the community! Calendar photos will be taken during summer school picture days, Aug 1-2 at NPHS. Bring the jersey and any prop(s) of the sport of your choice. School Picture / ID / Yearbook All seniors are required to take an updated school photo with Nebraska Portraits. Your student ID will be printed using your updated image from summer picture days if you attend – otherwise, your ID will be printed using last year's (2022-23) photo on file. If you do not attend summer pictures, you must have your picture taken on NPHS Makeup Day, Aug 22, between 8-10am. Failure to have your photo taken may result in omission from the yearbook. Even if you don't plan on ordering, all students are required to have an updated picture with us. The images we capture are used by the district, safety personnel, yearbook staff, and more.
