Please start the line OUTSIDE of the school parking lot next to the tennis courts. DO NOT COME INTO THE PARKING LOT PRIOR TO THE SEMI UNLOADING THE DISTRIBUTION ITEMS. If you are in the parking lot prior to the gates opening we will ask you to move your vehicle. When the mobile distribution begins, cars can drive up to the gate by the Northeast corner of the football field. Patrons will drive thru the alley between the football field and the high school building, exiting on West A Street. Use only to entrance closest to the tennis courts to avoid congestion as students leave after school. While waiting for the distribution to begin you need to follow all traffic laws. Do not block driveways or streets for any reason. Safety is our number one concern and we do not want anyone to get hurt.

We have been working with WCDHD to offer a vaccination clinic for students wishing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine who are 18 and older. We will host this clinic this Thursday, April 8th, at the high school. Please complete the following information if you/ your student would like to receive the vaccine this Thursday.
Information:
1. Parental Permission Forms are required for students to receive the vaccination. *Please print, complete, and bring the attached form to the clinic
2. Online registration is required through https://vaccinate.ne.gov/en-US/ prior to arrival at the clinic.
3. The Single Shot Johnson and Johnson vaccine will be used on this day.
Vaccination times are scheduled by the students last name:
A-F - 8:30 a.m.
G-M - 8:55 a.m.
N-Q - 9:25 a.m.
R-Z - 9:45 a.m.
Makeup - 10:00 - 10:30 a.m.

Hello, Jefferson Families!
TESTING
As April arrives this week, so has TESTING SEASON! Today and tomorrow, we begin NSCAS (State) testing for 5th grade Science. We will test 3-5 grade students in Reading April 13 & 14; and Math 3-5 on April 20 & 21. All testing starts at 8:30am. We would like to invite ALL of our Remote Learners to come to school on those days and join us for these tests.
On May 4th & 5th ALL students K-5 will be engaged in MAPS (National) testing. We will test Math on Tuesday, May 4th and Reading on Wednesday, May 5th. Again, we would like to invite our Remote Learners in on these days to test with us.
NO SCHOOL
There will be no school this Friday, April 2nd; Monday April 5th, and Tuesday, April 6th. Everyone (including teachers) have Friday and Monday off for Easter Break. Tuesday is a Professional Development day for our staff. I hope you all enjoy your time together.

We have teamed up with our local child advocacy center Bridge of Hope to promote awareness. As well as celebrate the awesome things they do to assist in child abuse prevention.
