We loved welcoming our AG pen pal, David Grimes from Minden, NE, to our classroom today! It was so special to finally meet in person and learn even more about agriculture from someone who’s been writing to us all year. 🌾🚜

Trout were dissected. Volunteers were incredible. The smell was aggressive. Third graders asked questions I am still processing. 10/10 day - The kids loved it and will never forget it. 🐟💙 Tag a volunteer, they deserve the recognition!

🌍 Field Trip Fun! Mrs. Bodenus’ geologists are on the move again! Their class took a field trip to Jefferson’s Engagement Lab where students created hands-on models of Earth’s layers. Through exploration and creativity, they learned about the crust, mantle, and cores while bringing their geology unit to life!
