Back 2 School Bash Week

Kicking off the school year with a week’s worth of fun!
The North Platte Public Schools Foundation invites community members and NPPS alumni to join current students, parents, and staff of the North Platte Public Schools in celebrating our upcoming 2021-22 school year with a Back 2 School Bash, from Monday, August 23, through Friday, August 27. Help us raise funds to support our schools and programs, while honoring the hard work and achievements of our students, athletes, teachers, staff members, and Distinguished Alumni.

Self-Screening
Staff, students, and visitors entering any NPPS facility are expected to conduct a self-screening for COVID-19 symptoms every day before arriving.

Reminder: Please drop off your K-5 students on the east side (Silber Street side). K-1 students will come inside at 7:45. 2-5 will begin Walking Club today.
Pick-up will be as it was last year. All students will be dismissed out of their classroom doors (3-5 on west side, 2nd out of the front doors, and K-1 out of their respective doors). Kindergarten parents please come in person for face to face pick up from the Kindergarten teachers. Thank you.

Don't forget Open House tomorrow night, Thursday, August 12. Kindergarten 5:30-6:00pm; K-5 6:00-7:00pm; Title I informational meeting 7:00-8:00pm (It won't last an hour, wanting to offer time for questions and answers). We are looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow night.

Project Connect is a one-day, one-stop, drive-thru event where individuals and families can access a wide variety of services and on-hand items.
Coordinated by: Items on hand include - Backpacks, school supplies, non-perishable food items, hygiene products & cleaning products.
Bring your mobile device for quick access to our Resource Directory to help guide you in finding services to meet your needs.
There will be NO mobile pantry on August 10th!
We will partner with Project Connect on August 3rd at 1 pm at North Platte High School.
Along with the regular mobile food boxes, produce, and milk, we will be handing out backpacks filled with school supplies for NPPSD students. This process might take longer than the regular mobile so please come prepared with extra water as it will be hot.
