Dr. Eric Groce presented to North Platte Public School District 4th grade classes at the High School’s PAC. Dr. Groce wrote a book, The Canteen, about the soldier trains during WWII that would stop in North Platte. The soldiers would be treated to homemade goods, magazines, and other good deeds by the community.
