Baker is an Eisenhower Elementary Student of the Month! Baker is a student that catches on easily. He is good to others and thinks things through before he speaks. Baker volunteers to help out when he sees the need. He is good at sports. He is organized. His desk is always neat and ready for anything. The stories he shares with the class are interesting because he lives on a farm and can explain farm life to the town kids. Baker is excited to show his new pig at the fair. He is a good sport and always congratulates others when they do something great. Congratulations Baker!

Jace is an Eisenhower Elementary Student of the Month! Jace has worked very hard in all aspects of school this year. I appreciate the respect that he shows to all of the adults in the building. Jace has worked really hard to become a more successful reader and he takes pride in the books he reads. I have enjoyed watching Jace work hard in the classroom to get the job done. He makes good choices in the classroom while others are easily influenced to make poor ones. Jace has been getting his calendar signed every night as well as doing the bonus questions that we post! He comes in quietly every morning and gets right to work with his math facts. I have watched him be kind to others when they need it and check on others when they are feeling down. Jace has a kind heart and truly cares about doing the right thing. Jace is one of those students that can sit anywhere in the classroom and still be a quiet listener and I appreciate that about him. I have witnessed his positive attitude influence others around him. I look forward to seeing Jace continue to grow as a learner and am very proud of him:)

Avery is an Eisenhower Elementary Student of the Month! The quality I like most about Avery is her dependability. I can depend on Avery to always make the best choices—doing her work every day in class, following directions, being kind to her classmates, and respecting every adult that works at Eisenhower. She is extremely polite and has such a sweet, calm personality that makes her so enjoyable to have in class! She has shown tremendous growth with her reading this year—I love how she challenges herself to read bigger and harder books and produces a fantastic book report to share with her peers. Her work is precise, neat, and full of wonderful details! I can’t wait to see what kinds of things Avery can accomplish in the future! Whatever she does, she’ll do it with a smile and a positive attitude. Avery is an outstanding example of a SOAR-ing Eisenhower Eagle! Congratulations Avery!

Ainsley is an Eisenhower Elementary Student of the Month! Ainsley is a sweet young lady with a gentle spirit and she has grown tremendously throughout the year. I am impressed with her determination during lessons. She demonstrates a “can-do” attitude everyday, and it is evident in reading and math - even when it is difficult, she works a little harder until she has the skill mastered. I see how her confidence has bloomed as she volunteers information and participates in class discussions, and she is always willing to explain so that others can learn from her. I love watching her interact with her classmates at recess or in the classroom, she is so at-ease and kind. I appreciate that Ainsley shows respect everyday by listening, responding to what is asked, and working to follow our school rules. Ainsley is a joy to have in class and I know this is just the beginning. WAY TO GO AINSLEY!!
