We missed you at the NPHS National Honor Society Bulldog Blood Drive in early March, but you can still support our scholarship blood drive at a special drive on Friday, March 26, 2021, at the American Red Cross Donation Center, 1111 S. Cottonwood Street, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Each donation helps build our scholarship total for our NHS seniors and helps up to three patients. Appointments are strongly encouraged so social distancing can be practiced.
Your donation is essential. We’d like to show our gratitude for being a vital part of our American Red Cross community with a special gift. Get an exclusive Red Cross T-shirt when you come to give March 15-26, while supplies last.
To make an appointment for this event, visit www.redcrossblood.org and use sponsor code “bulldogblood” or call 1-800-RED CROSS

There will be no disruption to our busing schedule for the month of March.

We hope you had a chance to watch part one of our Sunday Spotlight. Check out part two to learn more about our NPPS Bullpup Preschool!

Conrad is an Eisenhower Elementary Student of the Month! He has a big heart and is sincere, kind, and caring toward his classmates. He is observant of others in the classroom and will go out of his way to help someone if needed. He doesn’t like others to be excluded so he keeps the peace by including others and makes sure classmates get along in the classroom and out on the playground. He exhibits good behavior and shows genuine respect toward adults and students. Conrad shows up to school every day with a positive attitude and work ethic. Even when concepts might be difficult at first, he gives 100% to learn something new and he asks questions to gain a better understanding of the concepts. He puts forth the effort to do his very best at school. We enjoy seeing his bright smile and we appreciate his helpfulness at school. Conrad does a great job of being responsible and I’m proud to honor him as an Eisenhower S.O.A.R. student. Congratulations Conrad!

We celebrated Read Across America Week last week by playing Bingo for Books as a whole school!

Baker is an Eisenhower Elementary Student of the Month! Baker is a student that catches on easily. He is good to others and thinks things through before he speaks. Baker volunteers to help out when he sees the need. He is good at sports. He is organized. His desk is always neat and ready for anything. The stories he shares with the class are interesting because he lives on a farm and can explain farm life to the town kids. Baker is excited to show his new pig at the fair. He is a good sport and always congratulates others when they do something great.
Congratulations Baker!

Allie is an Eisenhower Elementary Student of the Month! Allie is a sweet girl that works very hard to be perfect. She loves animals of all
kinds. She is a creative girl that has a great sense of humor. She makes her bed by herself every morning. Allie is even learning to bake from her grandma. She is very strong at math and loves to read, especially if it is a dog story. Allie draws beautiful pictures to brighten your day. She takes responsibility when there is something that needs done in a timely manner. Congratulations Allie!

Jace is an Eisenhower Elementary Student of the Month! Jace has worked very hard in all aspects of school this year. I appreciate the respect that he shows to all of the adults in the building. Jace has worked really hard to become a more successful reader and he takes pride in the books he reads. I have enjoyed watching Jace work hard in the classroom to get the job done. He makes good choices in the classroom while others are easily influenced to make poor ones. Jace has been getting his calendar signed every night as well as doing the bonus questions that we post! He comes in quietly every morning and gets right to work with his math facts. I have watched him be kind to others when they need it and check on others when they are feeling down. Jace has a kind heart and truly cares about doing the right thing. Jace is one of those students that can sit anywhere in the classroom and still be a quiet listener and I appreciate that about him. I have witnessed his positive attitude influence others around him. I look forward to seeing Jace continue to grow as a learner and am very proud of him:)

Avery is an Eisenhower Elementary Student of the Month! The quality I like most about Avery is her dependability. I can depend on Avery to always make the best choices—doing her work every day in class, following directions, being kind to her classmates, and respecting every adult that works at Eisenhower. She is extremely polite and has such a sweet, calm personality that makes her so enjoyable to have in class! She has shown tremendous growth with her reading this year—I love how she challenges herself to read bigger and harder books and produces a fantastic book report to share with her peers. Her work is precise, neat, and full of wonderful details! I can’t wait to see what kinds of things Avery can accomplish in the future! Whatever she does, she’ll do it with a smile and a positive attitude. Avery is an outstanding example of a SOAR-ing Eisenhower Eagle! Congratulations Avery!
