Sorry for the confusion.
Mrs. Brosius
We are thrilled to announce a new opportunity designed to help our incoming 7th-grade students have a successful start to the school year!
This year, Adams Middle School will welcome 7th-grade students on Tuesday, August 12, while 8th-grade students will report on Wednesday, August 13. This additional transition day for our newest Bulldogs will allow our staff to focus on helping 7th graders become comfortable with their new school, learn routines, build connections, and start the year with confidence.
📚 Student schedules will be distributed just as they have been in previous years:
• 7th Grade – Schedules will be available outside the west 7th-grade doors on the 12th
• 8th Grade – Schedules will be available outside the south doors on the 13th
🚗 Morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up locations will also remain the same:
• 7th Grade – West entrance
• 8th Grade – South entrance
We wanted to share this information early so families can plan and enjoy their summer knowing that Adams Middle School is committed to making the transition to middle school as smooth and positive as possible for every student.
Our staff is incredibly excited that this opportunity was approved, and we look forward to dedicating this extra time to helping our incoming 7th graders feel welcomed, supported, and ready for an amazing year.
We hope this early notice helps families plan ahead while enjoying a relaxing and well-deserved summer break. We can't wait to welcome our Bulldogs back in August! 🐾💙
📣 Adams Staff Update – Ready for Another Great Year! 🐾
As we prepare for the new school year, we are excited to continue building on the success of last year! All staff members will have homerooms this year, and while some may share computer carts, we expect a smooth transition overall.
Our schedule will look very similar to last year, with one exciting addition—more homeroom time in the morning dedicated to Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). This time will help us strengthen relationships, build important life skills, and support the success of every Bulldog.
The best part? Staff will be provided with the resources and guidance needed, and everyone will be working from the same program to ensure consistency for our students.
We are excited about the opportunities this dedicated time will create as we continue fostering a positive, supportive, and connected learning community at Adams.
For now, though, take time to enjoy a well-deserved summer! ☀️
Relax. Rejuvenate. Spend time with family and friends. Make memories, recharge your batteries, and take pride in all that you accomplished this year. You have earned it!
We can't wait to welcome everyone back refreshed, energized, and ready for another amazing year at Adams.
🐾 Have a fantastic summer, Bulldogs! Stronger relationships. Stronger students. Stronger Bulldogs. 🐾
As we prepare for another great year at Adams Middle School, please remember:
✅ All student-athletes must have a current physical and concussion test on file before participating in any school activity or sport- all paperwork on this can be found on our website
✅ All incoming 7th-grade students are required to have a physical and an up-to-date immunization record before the start of school.
✅All fines must be paid. Fines can be paid through the Parent Portal or in the office.
Waiver forms must be filled out every school year for each student.
📄 All required forms and paperwork can be found on our school website. Please review and complete them as soon as possible.

The Adams Jazz Ensemble went to Kearney on Tuesday to perform at the Central Nebraska Jazz Festival. They played an incredible set, received an "Excellent" from the judge's scores, (84.3, which is 0.7 away from a "Superior" rating) and did an amazing job representing our school. They also had fun watching the North Platte High School Jazz Ensemble warm up as well! Go bulldogs!
