Potential Hoax Calls - NPPS
Dear NPPS Families,
We want to let you know of a situation that has taken place across the state of Nebraska. There are reports of hoax calls targeting schools to invoke the fear of a phony shooting. These calls have caused disruptions at schools in several districts today.
North Platte Public Schools has NOT received the hoax call. We have, however, informed our administrators, administrative assistants, and staff of the potential that we could receive this call. If this does occur, we will implement our predetermined protocols outlined in our safety procedures.
Again, North Platte Public Schools has NOT received this phony hoax call.
