Osgood Elementary

Osgood Preschool students had a wonderful opportunity to go on a virtual field trip! The children visited the penguins at Henry Doorly Zoo! They were able to see the penguins in their natural zoo habitat through Zoom. They learned about the different types of penguins living at the zoo and what they like to eat.  They eat fish head first!  They learned that the zookeepers identify girl penguins with a white band and boy penguins with a black armband.  It was an amazing opportunity for the children and they LOVED it.
