Tennis is right around the corner... We will have a quick meeting on Monday, February 13th, @ 4:00 p.m. at Washington Elementary (600 W 3rd. North Platte). Conditioning starts Monday, February 20th. The North Platte High Student Council is sponsoring the annual Hug-A-Heart day on Tuesday, February 14th. This is a free event. Students will label, decorate, and wear a heart (provided) on Valentine’s Day. If your name or the person’s name you are wearing is drawn, you get a prize from the Career Center. Sign up and decoration will take place during Bulldog Time.
Red Out Week will be next week, February 14-18th, starting with Valentine's Day and ending with our Burke & Elkhorn basketball games on Saturday. Throughout the week, dress up for chances to win prizes:
- Tuesday is Sweetheart Day--twin up with your sweetheart or BFF
- Wednesday is Where's Waldo--can you find Waldo hidden about our halls?
- Thursday is PE Throwback, Bring back jump for heart!--dress up as your elementary school PE teacher
- Friday is Love to Be Comfy--wear your comfy pajamas

The North Platte High Student Council is hosting a Valentine’s Day opportunity. For $2, Students can have a bouquet of suckers sent to someone with the message, "I'm a Sucker for you". Student council members will be taking orders during all 4 lunches from until Thursday. Bouquets will be delivered on Tuesday, Feb. 14th during 1st and 2nd period.
Come out and join the NPHS Fine Arts Department on Tuesday, February 14th from 6:00pm till approximately 7:30pm in the Commons. The Band will be hosting their annual Sweet Affair of the Arts event featuring live student entertainment, student art displays, coffee and desserts for sale, and a great start to your valentines evening. Join us for a "Wild Night"! Students 9-12th grade are invited to attend Wild Bills on Friday, Feb. 17th from 4:00 - 6:00pm for free laser tag, bowling and pizza . There will also be an Airpod raffle and other giveaways. This event is being provided by WIC/Family planning, Eagle Radio, People's Health and Wild Bill's Fun Center. Hope to see you there!!

Attention seniors! Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation's ONE Application for many Scholarships is accepting applications through Tuesday, February 28th. ONE Application is designed to save you time. Answer a few very basic questions and the system looks at 72 local scholarships to determine which ones you are eligible to apply for. Go to Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation to apply.
