Art students from 1st and 2nd term - Please come pick up your leftover artwork today, Jan. 20th if you haven't already done so.



hoby.png Sophomores who are interested in being considered for the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) Conference encouraged to stop by the Counselor's Office and see Mrs. Horne for more information.  The HOBY seminar is designed for sophomores with demonstrated or potential leadership skills who would like to further develop their leadership abilities. 



Woods 1 and Woods 2 students, please come and pick up your projects as soon as possible.  The woods area is full and we need room for the classes this semester.  If not picked up by Jan. 23rd they will be disposed of. 



The Snowball dance is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 27th from 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM .

Snowball Dance Guest Forms and tickets are available in the Main Office from Mrs. Persinger.   ALL guest forms must be returned no later than Wednesday, Jan. 25th @ 4:00 PM.  

All fines and fees and even lunch account balances must be paid prior to purchasing a ticket for the dance.  Tickets cost $5.00 and tickets will not be available for purchase the night of the dance.

Just a reminder that even early grads MUST be invited by a current North Platte student. 



If you have taken  a Dual Credit class this year, the Reimbursement Applications are available in the Counselor's Office.  Those need to be completed, with a copy of your college transcript and proof of payment by January 31st.  You will be reimbursed $25.00 per credit for classes you have completed.  See your counselor if you have any questions.




Attention all Juniors, if you are interested in an amazing look at how our government operates, Cornhusker Boys' and Girls' State is for you!  See Mrs. Horne in the Counselor's Office for more information before Friday, Feb. 10th




Attention seniors!  Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation's ONE Application for many Scholarships is accepting applications through Tuesday, February 28th.  ONE Application is designed to save you time.  Answer a few very basic questions and the system looks at 72 local scholarships to determine which ones you are eligible to apply for.  Go to  Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation to apply.


Interested in attending a college presentation?  See Mrs. Schumacher in the Counselor's Office to sign up!  Representatives will be visiting the North Platte High School Career Center on the following dates:    Colby Community College - Tuesday, Jan. 24th @ 1:15pm and Hastings College - Thursday, Jan. 26th @ 2:15pm
