Attention creative people: the Art Department is hosting a tiny art display beginning Tuesday, October 25th. Enter any artwork, any medium, any skill level, as long as it is 4"x6" or smaller. All artwork must be school appropriate, signed, and original. You do not have to be an art student to enter artwork...staff is welcome as well! Come see us if you need sticky notes or other small paper to work on. Entries due Monday, October 24th. See Mrs. DeVoe or Mrs. Mason with questions.
North Platte High School Key Club is so happy to present to you UNICEF week! UNICEF is a child’s emergency fund it helps administer programs to assist children with there needs. This week we are going to have key clubbers and officers going around and collecting money for this special event! So, if you see someone with a box and would like to donate it’s very appreciated! The cheerleaders are selling suckers for $1.00 this week in honor of purple out cancer awareness. Contact any cheerleader if you are interested.

- Purple balloons will be sold at the football game Friday night to honor anyone that has or is fighting cancer. You can write your loved one's name on the balloon, then release the balloons at kick off when announced. All proceeds will be donated to Callahan Cancer center.

Attention all 9-12th Grade Boys who are interested in trying out for basketball this season. There will be a short informational meeting Monday Oct. 31 @ 3:30 pm in the PAC to discuss the start of the season. This meeting is MANDATORY...Contact Coach Kaminski beforehand if you cannot attend.
Don't forget, the Healthy High School National Challenge is in full swing and you can help our school win the $5,000 top prize by purchasing combo meals in the cafeteria, healthy snacks or beverages on the challenge list. Don't let our school down.

- MidWest Grads will be here on Thursday, November 3rd from 10:30am - 2:00pm in the Commons to take your graduation orders. Payment is due at time of purchase. if you have questions, see Mrs. Schumacher in the Counselor's Office.
- Please stop into the Counselor's Office or email Mrs. Schumacher at tschumacher@nppsd.org to check the spelling of your name that will be on your diploma. Any name that is not checked and corrected before diplomas are ordered will be replaced at your expense.
- Seniors: The local scholarships are available! Stop by the Counselor's Office to pick up the scholarship applications that you may qualify for. These scholarships are listed in your scholarship booklet and can also be found and printed from our high school webpage, NPHS Counselor's Corner. Completed scholarship applications are due to the Counselor's Office by Friday, Dec. 16th!
