Want to be a part of the first girls wrestling team at NPHS?  If so, there will be a meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 4th @ 7:30am in the wrestling room for all girls interested in joining.  Hope to see you there!

Skills USA will be having a general club meeting on Tuesday, Oct 4th at 7:00pm in the Electricity Lab.

NPHS cheer is selling Purple Out t-shirts and sweatshirts for ALL cancer awareness.  The purple out volleyball game is Tuesday, October 18th, and the football game is Friday, October 21st.  If you are interested in ordering, contact any cheerleader.  All proceeds are donated to Callahan Cancer Center. 

Don't forget, the Healthy High School National Challenge is in full swing and you can help our school win the $5,000 top prize by purchasing combo meals in the cafeteria, healthy snacks or beverages on the challenge list.  Don't let our school down.

Seniors: The local scholarships are now available!  Stop by the Counselor's Office to pick up the scholarship applications that you may qualify for.  These scholarships are listed in your scholarship booklet and can also be found and printed from our high school webpage, NPHS Counselor's Corner.   Completed scholarship applications are due to the Counselor's Office by Friday, Dec. 16th! 

 

Interested in attending a college presentation?  See Mrs. Schumacher in the Counselor's Office to sign up!  Representatives will be visiting the North Platte High School Career Center on the following dates:   Nebraska Wesleyan University - Wednesday, Oct. 5th @ 1:15pm, University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) - Tuesday, October 18th @ 11:30am, Mid Plains Community College - Tuesday, Nov. 9th @ 9:00am and Creighton College - Wednesday, Nov. 12th @ 10:30am
