The Homecoming Dance is fast approaching!  The dance will be held Friday, Sept. 16th!   Homecoming tickets are now available in the Main Office for $5.00 from Mrs. Persinger 💃💃💃Please check your student portal to make sure that you do not have any fees or fines! Also, if you're planning on bringing a guest from another district please make sure that you have picked up a guest form! 😀 

Reminder that our first Dungeons and Dragons meeting will be this Thursday, Sept. 8th at 3:30p.m. in the library.  Be sure to get your dues to Mrs. Tatman as soon as possible.



Hey Bulldogs..... We are going to have our first Gay-Straight-Alliance Meeting on Thursday, Sept 8th right after school in Ms. Tolman's room... Room 1204.   All students are welcome!  You do not have to be a member of the LGBTQ community to be in the Club... Allies are welcome!


Interested in taking the ASVAB Test on Tuesday, Oct. 4th?  The ASVAB Test is a career exploration test to find out what your great at!  This is a great FREE practice test for college SAT’s and gives you a great idea of possible career fields you could pursue after High School.  Sign up in the Counselor's Office or ask Mrs. Schumacher for more information.

Interested in attending a college presentation?  See Mrs. Schumacher in the Counselor's Office to sign up!  Representatives will be visiting the North Platte High School Career Center on the following dates:  Nebraska Wesleyan University - Wednesday, Sept. 7th @ 10:00am and University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) - Tuesday, October 18th @ 11:30am

Are you curious about what careers are out there that fit your interests and skills? The Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Career Exploration Day on October 26th to do just that. You will be introduced to a variety of careers and get to participate in hands-on activities. Career fields include construction, health and human services, legal, educational, retail, manufacturing, and sales just to name a few. If you are a junior or senior and are interested, you can sign up in the counselor's office.

Are you interested in the medical field after graduation? The counseling department is taking a trip to visit Central Community College in Grand Island on Wednesday, November 2nd to check on the medical programs they have to offer. If you are a junior or senior and interested in learning more about CCC Grand Island, you can sign up in the counselor's office to join us.
