The High School Support Group will meet every Wednesday, March 16th at 2:30pm in room 1205. This group is for any student struggling with unhealthy or violent relationships, violence at home or sexual assault and is open to grades 9 - 12 and all genders. Come join us at Mid Plains Inter High day to show off your mad skills! Sign up in the counseling office to qualify.
Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) – The Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) is awarded annually to a current sophomore or junior in the high school who have demonstrated leadership in school, community or place of worship. As a RYLA recipient, the students attend an all expenses paid, five-night conference (July 12 – July 17, 2022) in the beautiful Nebraska National Forest near Halsey, Nebraska, about 80 miles north of North Platte. This camp brings together a special group of young men and women to share ideas about becoming better leaders. Attention Seniors: If you have received a scholarship or award, and would like it recognized at Senior Awards Night on Wednesday, April 20th and printed in the commencement program, please email or bring a copy of your notification to Mrs. Schumacher in the Counselor's Office by Friday, April 8th. (All scholarships can be turned in for recognition even if you don't plan on attending the college that awarded the scholarship but grants or loans will be included.)
