We are having a SkillsUSA Meeting today, February 17th in the electricity lab.  We will talk about the upcoming State Leadership conference, Make sure of the contest you want to compete in, what you will need for it and how much you need to pay for registration, hotel room etc.  Please make arrangements to attend this meeting.  I look forward to seeing everyone and have a GREAT day!  This will replace the Feb. 24th meeting.

Pre-Med Club will now be meeting tonight, February 17th at 7pm in the NPHS library. We will have snacks and drinks, and anyone is welcome! Please see Elleigh Fisher for any questions.


Did you know that FFA is the largest student organization in the country? We are excited to celebrate our own FFA chapter with you all next week! If you dress up during the week to our theme days, you will have a chance to win a gift card to one of your favorite places around town. Next week’s themes are:

Monday- Denim Day
Tuesday- Disney vs Pixar
Wednesday- Western
Thursday- FFA Day (blue and gold)

We hope to see you all in your best denim on Monday! 


For all GIRLS interested in trying out for soccer....there will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, February 23rd after school in Mrs. Kaminski's room 1304.  This meeting is mandatory as you will receive all information required to tryout.  If you cannot attend please see Mrs. Kaminski.


For all GIRLS interested in going out for track and field....there will be a sign-up meeting on Wednesday, February 23rd after school in the Career Center.  This meeting is mandatory for all girls wanting to be on the team. If you cannot make it see Coach Lloyd in Room 2109. 


Join us for a "Wild Night"!   Students 9-12th grade are invited attend Wild Bills on Monday, Feb. 28th from 5:00 - 8:00pm for free laser tag, bowling and pizza .  There will also be an Airpod raffle and other giveaways.  This event is being put on by WIC/Family planning.   Hope to see you there!!


Guest forms for MORP are available from Mrs. Persinger in the Main Office through Monday, Feb. 28th.  All completed forms are due back no later than 4 o'clock on Tues. March 1st.  Please remember that even mid-year grads will need to be invited by a current student and complete a guest form.  The dance is Friday, March 4th @ 8 PM - and all tickets will be purchased at the door for $5.00 

Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA)  – The Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) is awarded annually to a current sophomore or junior in the high school who have demonstrated leadership in school, community or place of worship.  As a RYLA recipient, the students attend an all expenses paid, five-night conference (July 12 – July 17, 2022) in the beautiful Nebraska National Forest near Halsey, Nebraska, about 80 miles north of North Platte.  This camp brings together a special group of young men and women to share ideas about becoming better leaders.   Applications can be found at  https://greatplainsryla.org/apply  and must be submitted on-line no later than March 31, 2022.  See Mrs. Horne in the Counselor's Office for more information.
