HoCo Spirit Week 2026 is as follows...

Tuesday, Sept. 8th - Disney Day - Dress as your favorite Disney character, movie, or Disney inspired look!
Wednesday, Sept. 9th - Mean Girls - Make today "totally fetch" and wear PINK!
Thursday, Sept. 10th - School of Rock - Wear your favorite band tee or dress like your favorite artist.
Friday, Sept. 11th - Blue and Gold - Show up in your best school colors and make your final scene one to remember.

1st Round -

Staff and Senior Class - All vetted nominations will then be available to vote for on a google form that will be emailed to you. Top 4 vote getters will make up the royal court.
This round must be completed between Friday 9/4 and Monday, 9/7

2nd Round -

Staff and Senior Class - Top 4 vote getting candidates will then be available for you to vote for King or Queen. There will be 1 King and 1 Queen according to how many votes they received. All other candidates will make up attendees of the Royal Court. This round of voting will be completed in person during lunch or after school in the Commons area.
Tuesday 9/8 - Lunch and after school until 4:15
Wednesday 9/9 - Lunch and after school until 3:00

*Votes will be tallied before the parade Wednesday night. King and Queen will be announced at the pep rally.

FBLA MANDATORY MEETING

FBLA members, please remember that we will have a mandatory short meeting on Friday, September 11, immediately after school.

Length: 30 minutes max!

Walk to End Alzheimer’s

Students and teachers are invited to join us for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Lake Helen in Gothenburg on Saturday, September 12!

Registration: 9:00 AM

Walk begins: 10:00 AM

Location: Lake Helen, Gothenburg

Come out and support a meaningful cause as we walk together to raise awareness and help end Alzheimer’s. We’d love to see our students, teachers, and school community there!

Let’s walk together, show our support, and make a difference!

We are selling Little Caesars Pizza Kits to raise money

for the North Platte Journalism Department!

Deliciousness is on its way!

This fundraiser will run from September 1st - October 1st. These kits are convenient, delicious and perfect to have on hand for busy days.

We need your support to make this happen.

What will we be doing with the funds raised?

All funds will go back into the journalism department.

To provide students with current equipment and offer career readiness to up-and-coming photographers and journalists.

It’s easy and only takes a few minutes to order. You can pay by credit card and the yummy Kits will be shipped right to your door by FedEx. It’s the same price to ship 1 or 2 Kits, so I’m thinking you might want to get 2!
