Senior Hoco Royal Court nomination forms are available in the Activities Office! On one form you’re eligible to nominate one boy and one girl! ALL must be Seniors! Filled out ones can be given to Mrs. Persinger in the Main Office.

Nominations
Senior Class - Homecoming Court nominations are available now until Thursday 9/3 at 3:45PM! Get those forms from the office and turn them back into the box in the activities office! (Pro tip - nominees can pre-confirm they are interested by emailing me)
1st Round -
Staff and Senior Class - All vetted nominations will then be available to vote for on a google form that will be emailed to you. Top 4 vote getters will make up the royal court.
This round must be completed between Friday 9/4 and Monday, 9/7
2nd Round -
Staff and Senior Class - Top 4 vote getting candidates will then be available for you to vote for King or Queen. There will be 1 King and 1 Queen according to how many votes they received. All other candidates will make up attendees of the Royal Court. This round of voting will be completed in person during lunch or after school in the Commons area.
Tuesday 9/8 - Lunch and after school until 4:15
Wednesday 9/9 - Lunch and after school until 3:00
*Votes will be tallied before the parade Wednesday night. King and Queen will be announced at the pep rally.
There will be a Swim and Dive meeting tomorrow, Sept. 4th in the Career Center during Bulldog Time. Homecoming plans and pre-season training will be discussed. See you there!
Don't forget, we are starting a new fundraiser for the NPHS Speech Team. We will be auctioning off six prime parking spots. You may have seen these spots in the parking lot. (designated #1-6) These spots will be available only to the raffle winners for the entire semester. This means that we will have 2 chances to win a dedicated parking space to be used at your convenience each year! This opportunity is available to All High School Students and Staff! Tickets will be sold at $5 for one chance and $20 for 5. See your nearest NPHS Speech team member for your chance to win one of these cozy and convenient spaces for your car while supporting your NPHS Speech Team! Winners will be announced on September 04, 2027.
Interested in attending a college presentation? Watch your Google Classroom or see Mrs. Schumacher in the Counselor's Office to sign up! Representatives will be visiting the North Platte High School Career Center on the following dates:
Mid Plains Community College - Wednesday, Sept. 9th @ 10:30am
Nebraska Wesleyan University - Wednesday, Sept. 16th @ 10:00am
University of Nebraska at Omaha - Thursday, Oct. 8th @ 11:15am
Central Community College - Tuesday, Oct. 27th @ 10:30am
Please dismiss the Cross Country Team today, Sept. 3rd. Athletes should be dismissed ALL Day. Sack lunches will be provided.
