FCCLA will be having their Welcome Back meeting today, Aug. 18th after school in room 2403. Come check us out!
Any students that are interested in learning more about or participating in Mock Trial, please join us today, August 18th directly after school at 3:30pm in room 2107 for a brief informational meeting.
Ready for an Adventure? Join the Dungeons & Dragons Club! Calling all adventurers, heroes, and storytellers! Whether you're a seasoned Dungeon Master, an experienced player, or completely new to tabletop role-playing games, all students are welcome to join the Dungeons & Dragons Club!
First Meeting: today, August 18th
Time: 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM

Looking for a great way to make friends, learn new skills, and get involved? Join us for the SkillsUSA Informational Meeting today, August 18, at 5:00 p.m. in the Auto Shop.
Come enjoy door prizes, snacks, games, and time to socialize while learning about everything SkillsUSA has to offer. Members can participate in community service projects, build wood duck nesting boxes, go on industry tours and compete against students from across the state in exciting skills competitions.
With over 140 competition areas in Nebraska such as welding, Quiz Bowl, criminal justice, robotics, public speaking, health care , automotive technology, construction, leadership, and many more—there's something for everyone!
Whether you're interested in building technical skills, developing leadership, or just meeting new people, we'd love to have you. We hope to see you today at 5:00 in the Auto Shop.
Come on, come all the first Key Club meeting of the year will be held Thursday, August 20th at 7:30am in room 2407. Come see what Key Club is all about and remember Kindness is Key.
Help NPHS Go Green—Aluminum Recycling is Back! FBLA is excited to launch our new "Go Green" project and bring aluminum recycling back to North Platte High School! We need your help to make our school cleaner and more sustainable.
Where to recycle your empty aluminum cans:
**In the Pods: Green recycling bins are located in the center of each pod.
**In the Cafeteria: Blue recycling bins are located at both ends of the cafeteria.
Important Reminder: Please place ONLY empty aluminum cans in these recycling bins. Do NOT put trash, food, or other waste in any of the recycling bins. Thank you for your help and participation in keeping NPHS green!
This year we are starting a new fundraiser for the NPHS Speech Team. We will be auctioning off six prime parking spots. You may have seen these spots in the parking lot. (designated #1-6) These spots will be available only to the raffle winners for the entire semester. This means that we will have 2 chances to win a dedicated parking space to be used at your convenience each year! This opportunity is available to All High School Students and Staff! Tickets will be sold at $5 for one chance and $20 for 5. See your nearest NPHS Speech team member for your chance to win one of these cozy and convenient spaces for your car while supporting your NPHS Speech Team! Winners will be announced on September 04, 2027.
Interested in attending a college presentation? See Mrs. Schumacher in the Counselor's Office to sign up! Representatives will be visiting the North Platte High School Career Center on the following dates:
