There will be a short meeting immediately after school today, February 18, in room 2207 for all BOYS planning to try out for soccer. This is a mandatory meeting to discuss tryout requirements and expectations. If you are unable to attend, please see Coach Whitney in room 2207.
SkillsUSA Meeting reminder! Our next meeting is tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 19th at 5:30pm. We hope to see all our members and prospective members there!
Attention: ALL LADIES interested in trying out for soccer... there will be a mandatory informational quick meeting in Mrs. Kaminski's room 1304 Friday right after school. At this meeting we will discuss tryout expectations and hand out required paperwork. Please see Mrs. Kaminski with any questions! See you Friday!
Reminders: FBLA Leadership will meet Friday, Feb. 20th, @ 7:30am before school to discuss the upcoming February club meeting.
FBLA will also hold a mandatory club meeting on Friday, Feb. 25th, from 3:30–5:30 PM after school. All members are expected to attend. If you are unable to be there, you must speak with Mrs. Welte prior to the meeting. This meeting is required and directly impacts our state participation.
The FBLA winter fundraiser is in full swing, and BRRR Baskets raffle tickets are available in Mrs. Welte’s room and at all home events - check out the baskets in the commons during Home sporting events. Support FBLA and help send us to state competition.
Sorry everyone about the short notice, we will no longer be having our February 23rd Pre Med Club Meeting. Our next meeting will be March 2nd, still at 7PM, in the Great Plains Health Hospital conference rooms. We will be hosting our 'Speed Dating With Medical Professionals' where we will do short meet and greets with local medical professionals and ask them any questions you have about their careers. We would love to see you there!
Are you interested in traveling to Europe? In June of 2027, the language teachers at North Platte High School will be taking students and families to England, France and Spain. For more information, please talk to Tamina Hartman in room 2308 or Sandra Mejia in room 2307. There will be an information meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 25th at NPHS room 2308 at 6:30pm. Come find out how you can join us!
Attention artists! The Annual All-Area Student Art Show is quickly approaching. If you are interested in entering artwork please come talk to Mrs. DeVoe or Mrs. Mason ASAP for more info. You do not have to be a current or past art student. The show will hang at the Prairie Arts Center through March. Encourage your friends to enter as well.
Kayla with MPCC dual credit is available every Monday morning from 8:30am - Noon in the Career Center. Stop by for questions about your application, registration or scholarship opportunities!
