Chess Club

All skill levels are welcome — whether you’re a grandmaster in the making or just learning how the knight moves, come challenge your brain and your friends.

NHS applicants, please be checking your emails for application status updates. The NHS Induction Ceremony is on November 6th at 7 pm in the PAC. Inductees will have a mandatory rehearsal on November 6th at 7 am in the PAC.
Dungeons & Dragons Club

Grab your dice, gather your party, and prepare for an epic quest! The Dungeons & Dragons Club meets every Tuesday after school until 5 PM in Room 1204. 🐉✨
Whether you’re a seasoned dungeon crawler or brand new to the game, come join the fun — create your character, roll for initiative, and see where your imagination takes you!

The NPHS Canned Food Drive has started and will run through Friday, November 14th. This event brings in tens of thousands of food items for North Platte and Lincoln County food banks. These food items are made available to families in need here in our area.
The big reward will be a staggered dismissal of the classes on December 19th, the day before Christmas break. The class grade with the most points will have a noon dismissal on Friday, December 19th. The class grade with the second highest point total will be dismissed at 1:00 on that day. The class grade with the third highest point total will be dismissed at 2:00 on that day. The last place class grade will be in school until 3:25. So please encourage students to bring in items for the NPHS Canned Food Drive. Student Council members who are in your BDT will explain everything this Thursday to your students. If there are no Student Council members in your BDT, members will be stopping by on Friday, the 31st. A document is attached showing who is in your BDT and who will be coming on Friday.
Students will be bringing in their items and storing them in their bulldog time classrooms. So if you could please make an area for Canned Food Items, that would be awesome. We will try to have boxes delivered to each room, but because of prior events, the school is short on boxes. All items will be picked up by StuCo members on Nov. 14th. The winning bulldog time will get Casey's breakfast pizza.
Circle of Friends meet on Tuesdays. Our next meeting in Tuesday, November 4th from 6:00–7:00 PM. This group is open to all students in grades 6–12.
We’ll meet at Adams Middle School, Room 310 (Mrs. Henne’s room). Please use Door A22 on the north side of the building in the teacher parking lot (second door east of McDonald Street).
What is Circle of Friends?
Circle of Friends is a group that brings together students who are working on developing social skills and peer volunteers who want to help and grow together. Weekly meetings and fun social activities provide a supportive environment for everyone involved.
Attention Seniors! Have you ordered your cap, gown and tassel for graduation yet? If not, orders will be open at www.midwestgrads.com until Nov. 15th. Prices will go up after that time and availability will be limited after Jan. 1st. See Mrs. Schumacher if you have any questions!

Please excuse the One ACT students today, Oct. 31st during BDT, 1st period, and 2nd period (7:45am - 11:45am). We are slated to be back by 11:35 and then they will have time to change and get to 3rd period.
