Thursday, August 28th

Are you interested in joining the largest student organization in the country? Then make sure to come out to FFA's first meeting of the year. Today, August 28th at 7 pm in the Ag room. Learn about what the chapter has to offer and what the year will look like!  And stick around after for slip and slide kickball and pizza! Don't worry the husker game will also be on! 

The SkillsUSA Chapter is hosting its 3rd Annual Cars & Craft Show THIS Saturday, August 30th, from 8 AM to 4 PM. Come support the chapter and see the Nebraska State Patrol Simulator, Mellow Grind, craft vendors, and lots of awesome cars—and don’t forget to grab a hamburger sack lunch!

A quick reminder for students and staff: if you park in front of the school, please move your vehicle Friday night. No overnight parking in front of the school.

The Pre-Med Club will have a meeting on Monday, Sept 8th at 7PM at Great Plains Health Hospital in the conference rooms. It will be Speed Dating With Medical Professionals. We will be talking to people currently working in the medical field. Again, contact Alex Sexson if you have any question.

Think you’ve got the moves? Or maybe you just want to learn? Chess Club meets Mondays from 3:45 to 4:45 in Room 1204. Come test your strategy, sharpen your skills, and maybe even checkmate a friend!

🐉 Dungeons & Dragons Club

Adventure awaits! Join us Tuesdays from 3:45 to 4:45 in Room 1204 for Dungeons & Dragons. Build your character, roll the dice, and see where the campaign takes you. Heroes, rogues, and wizards needed—no experience required!

📝 FBLA Leadership Essays

Future leaders—this one’s for you! FBLA Leadership Team essays are due this Friday, August 29th. Turn yours into Mrs. Welte by e-mail and show us why you’re ready to lead the way! All members of the leadership team must be an active member of FBLA.

Mark your calendars! The next FBLA meeting is Friday, September 5th, at 4:00 PM in Room 1204. Come ready to get involved, share ideas, and take your leadership to the next level. If you missed the first meeting that is okay, stop by Mrs. Welte's room to pick up an information sheet.

Are you interested in traveling to Europe?  In June of 2027, the language teachers at North Platte High School will be taking students and families to England, France and Spain.  For more information, please talk to Tamina Hartman in room 2308 or Sandra Mejia in room 2307.
