Any 9th grader interested in applying for the Kearney Bound Program, please bring your computer to the Career Center during Bulldog Time. Remember, applications are due tomorrow, March 1st. 



 Sock Hop Dance is tomorrow, March 1st from 8:00-11:00 PM





The Gaming Club will meet tomorrow, March 1st from 3:30- 5:00pm.  Hope to see you there!!





Attention creatives!  The annual All-Area Student Art Show is coming up at the Prairie Arts Center.  If you have artwork you would like to enter, please bring it to either art room by tomorrow, March 1st.  Entry fee is $4 per piece and all 2D work must be able to hang securely.  We have lots of frames, so bring your work down earlier than later.  Show will be set up Friday evening.   You don't have to be an art student to enter, and entries do not have to be art made in art class.  Please come see Mrs. DeVoe or Mrs. Mason for more information.



Are you interested in the world of medicine? Do you like being around sports? If so, consider being a part of the sports medicine internship program here at school. Tom is currently taking applicants for the 2024-2025 school year. See Tom in his office between the locker rooms after school on any weekday for more information or send him an email. 





Attention:  Any groups or individuals that need volunteer hours.  Volunteers are needed to help with the Autism Kidstock Carnival. We will need help with set up on Friday, March 8th in the afternoon until mid evening.  We will also need help with running the carnival on Saturday, March 9th from around 10:00am-4:00pm and tear down after that.  If you or your organization is  interested, please contact Janet Henne or see Mrs. Schumacher in the Counselor's Office for contact information.





On Thursday, March 7th @ 6:00pm there will be a student/parent meeting for cheer in the NPHS Commons.  

On Monday, March 18th Tryout practices begin for cheer - Packets and eligibility items can be picked up from the Activities Office must be completed to attend practice.











Sophomores & Juniors! Are you curious about what the University of Nebraska in Kearney has to offer? Do you want to check out their campus and see if UNK is the right fit for you? Come join us for a college visit on March 20th!  Sign up in the counseling office by March 12th.



Juniors! Are you a leader? Are you interested in government, politics, and good citizenship? Do you like to connect with other like-minded leaders? Girls' and Boys' State is an event just for YOU! Girls' and Boys' state takes place June 2-8 in Lincoln. If you would like to know more, please see Mrs. Quiroz in the counseling office. 





Reminder:  Dual Credit representatives will be in the Counselor's Office Conference Room every Monday for the rest of the year from 8:00am - Noon.  Be sure to see them if you have any questions about your Dual Credit classes.   In addition to dual credit help, MPCC representatives can help you with general college advising such as seeing if your dual credit college credits transfer to in-state and out of state colleges, seeing if a college offers a program you are interested in, and more.
