A flower from an admirer? A sweet treat for your homecoming date? A nice gesture to a friend? Key Club will be selling carnations during lunch starting Monday, Oct. 2nd until Thursday, Oct. 5th for $4. Want to send something sweet along with that flower, add on some Hershey Kisses for $1. Show your date how excited you are for the Homecoming Dance!
Come join Fellowship of Christian Athletes on Wednesday, Oct. 4th at 8:00 p.m. in the Dawg Pound for games, snacks and great conversation about motivation and goal setting. Whether you are a team athlete or love to put in miles or weights by yourself, FCA has a place for you!
Attention tech students! On Monday, Oct. 9th a representative from Universal Technical Institute will be in the PAC to talk about what their tech college offers in Automotive, Diesel, Collision, Motorcycle/Powersports, Aviation Maintenance, HVAC-R, Welding, Wind and various other technologies. If interested, please see Mrs. Schumacher in the Counselor's Office to sign up before Friday, Oct. 6th.
Mrs. Mejia in room 2307 and some students are going to Costa Rica!! They are selling the World's Finest Chocolate bars for $1. Find them if you are interested!
The Homecoming Dance will be held this Friday, Oct. 6th. It will begin a half hour after the game ends and end at 11:00pm.
- Guest forms are available from Mrs. Persinger in the Main Office.
- All guest forms MUST be returned no later than Wednesday, Oct. 4th @ 12 Noon
- Tickets are also available in the Main Office and cost $10.00.
- Remember -- ALL fees and fines, including lunch accounts, MUST be paid prior to purchasing a ticket or picking up a guest form.
Today is the last day to vote for your 2023 homecoming king and queen! Voting ends at 3:00pm.

- Graduation packets have been sent to your Bulldog Time. If you don't have Bulldog Time, please see Mrs. Schumacher for a packet.
- It is also time to check the spelling of your name that will be on your diploma. Mrs. Schumacher has a list at her desk. Stop into the Counselor's Office or email Mrs. Schumacher as soon as possible to do this. Any name that is not checked and corrected before diplomas are ordered will be replaced at your expense.
Seniors: The local scholarships are now available! Stop by the Counselor's Office to pick up the scholarship applications that you may qualify for. These scholarships are listed in your Post Planning Booklet and can also be found and printed from our high school webpage, NPHS Counselor's Corner. Completed scholarship applications are due to the Counselor's Office by Friday, Dec. 15th!
Juniors & Seniors! Are you interested in checking out Central Community College in Hastings and Grand Island? Are you thinking about a career in Culinary Arts, Dentistry, Early Childhood Education, Auto Body and Tech., Advanced Manufacturing Design Technology, Medical Assisting or Lab. Tech., Pharmacy Tech., or Occupational Therapy Assistant? Come join us for a campus visit on November 8th! Sign up in the counseling office by October 19th.
