High School Announcements for Wednesday, Aug. 30th
Do you enjoy being dramatic? Do you like to give class presentations? Do you like talking? If so, then consider trying out for competitive speech. There will be an informational speech team meeting today, Aug. 30th at 3:45 p.m. in Mrs. Boyer's room, 2204. This meeting is for all current speech team members and for anyone who would like to discover what competitive speech is all about.
Come join Fellowship of Christian Athletes , today, Aug. 30th at 8:00 p.m. in the Dawg Pound for games, snacks and great conversation about motivation and goal setting. Whether you are a team athlete or love to put in miles or weights by yourself, FCA has a place for you!
Girls Basketball will be having a short meeting after school at 2:20pm today, Aug. 30th in Coach Hammonds Room (1404) for ALL girls grades 9-12 interested in playing basketball this season. We will have a short discussion about upcoming events and open gyms. ALL girls grades 9-12 planning to play this season should attend.
North Platte High School Student Council is hosting a tailgate on Friday, September 1st, from 5:00 - 7:00pm, prior to the Bulldog Football game against Scottsbluff. The cost is $5.00 for a hotdog or hamburger, chips, a cookie, and a drink. Not too many places where you can get a meal like that for $5.00! Come treat yourself to a tasty meal to give you energy as you head on out to cheer on the Bulldogs!
If you are graduating early (in December) you MUST complete an Early Graduation Application! These applications can be picked up from your counselor in the School Counseling Office or you can find it in the Senior Google Classroom. You MUST complete the Early Graduation Application and turn it in to your counselor in order to be able to have the option of graduating early. Applications are due Friday, Sept. 29th. Come see us in the School Counseling Office if you have any questions.

Come join us at UNK for a full day of learning about health care occupations. Sign up sheet is in the counseling office. Spots are limited, so sign up today!
