The Brain Injury Alliance of Nebraska has expanded across Nebraska and we are here in North Platte to help raise awareness about brain injury signs and symptoms. We will be set up in the Commons during lunches on Tuesday, March 28th to share information and answer any questions you might have. Stop by our table and see what we are all about!!
Senior students and families! Join us on Wednesday, March 29th from 5:30-6:30 pm in the Career Center in the Counseling Office to learn what final steps to take to prepare for college. Topics include final decisions, financial offers, what to do the summer before, and how families can support their college bound student. Snacks will be provided. Have questions? Woods 1 students from term 3 you will have until Friday, March 31st to pick up your car and clock. After that time they will be disposed of.

The yearbook staff have been working hard to produce you a quality, handmade book! The Round-Up staff have continuously placed in the finals of yearbook theme and design. It's "A Night Under the Lanterns" Prom season is fast approaching!!!
- Prom will be held on Saturday, April 15th from 8:00-11:30 PM
- Guest passes are available from Mrs. Persinger in the Main Office.
- ALL guest passes are due back no later than 4:00 PM on Wednesday, April 5th
- All fees and fines must be paid before getting a guest pass or PROM ticket.
- Tickets will be available to purchase in the Main Office for $25.00 beginning Monday, April 3rd
Seniors and Teachers: Prom Royalty Nomination forms are available in the Main Office with Mrs. Persinger, Room 1104 and Room 1407. Forms are due back to Mrs. Persinger in the Main Office by Wednesday, April 5th at 3:30pm.
Sophomores!! Have you thought about life after high school? It's never too early to start! Join us on April 12th as we check out what Mid Plains Community College has to offer you! If you would like to visit MPCC, sign up in the counseling office.
Are you ready to kiss your graduate goodbye? Key Club is selling bouquets of Hershey kiss flowers for graduating seniors. They are available in various colors and amounts ranging from 3-12. If you are interested in purchasing, stop by rooms 1104, and 1407, or contact a Key Club member. Forms are also available in the front office. Orders are due by April 14th.
Attention Seniors: If you have received a scholarship or award, and would like it recognized at Senior Awards Night on Wednesday, April 26th and printed in the commencement program, please email or bring a copy of your notification to Mrs. Schumacher in the Counselor's Office. (All scholarships can be turned in for recognition even if you don't plan on attending the college that awarded the scholarship.) All awards and scholarships need to be turned in by Friday, April 14th.
Undergraduate Awards Night will be held on Tuesday, May 2nd for all 9th, 10 and 11th grade students with a qualifying GPA at the end of Term 3. A list of qualifying students has been posted on the bulletin board next to the Counselor's Office. Please check to see if you qualify. If you have any questions or don't see your name on the list and you think it should be please see Mrs. Schumacher in the Counselor's Office as soon as possible.
