Join us for a "Wild Night"!   Students 9-12th grade are invited to attend Wild Bills  tonight, Feb. 17th from 4:00 - 6:00pm for free laser tag, bowling and pizza .  There will also be an Airpod raffle and other giveaways.  This event is being provided by WIC/Family planning, Eagle Radio, People's Health and Wild Bill's Fun Center.   Hope to see you there!!

Juniors!! It's time to start thinking about college! We are taking a visit to check out the campus at Mid Plains Community College and another visit to UNK. If you are interested, come sign up in the counseling office to be considered to attend one or both of these college visits. 




There will be a quick unified track meeting after school on Monday, February 20th in Mrs. McBeain's classroom 1103. 





There will be a meeting for all boys planning to try out for soccer on Tuesday, February 21st immediately after school in room 2207.  This is a mandatory meeting for all players to discuss tryouts and expectations for the season. If you are unable to attend, see Coach Whitney in 2207 right away.





Calling all students over 16 years old.  Do you have an interest in construction or helping others?  Come help North Platte Habitat for Humanity with their new constructions.  No experience or supplies needed.  Learn job skills, teamwork and have fun!  Construction will begin this sprint!  Contact Michelle O'Dea at 534-6251 for more information.




The Student Council MORP dance is coming soon 💃  MORP is scheduled for Friday, March 3rd @ 8:00 PM

  • Tickets will be available at the door the night of the dance for $5.00
  • Guest dance forms will be available for pickup in the main office from Mrs. Persinger beginning Monday, Feb. 20th! 
  • This is for those wanting to bring someone from outside the district. 
  • All guest forms will be due back no later than 4:00 PM on Wednesday, March 1st



All boys interested in trying out for the golf team.....there will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 22nd @ 2:30pm in the Career Center.  Please contact Coach Kaminski if you cannot attend.







There will be an informational meeting for all GIRLS planning to tryout for Girls soccer.  The meeting will be Thursday, February 23rd at 3:30 in Mrs. Kaminski's room 1304.  You will receive important information required for tryouts so please plan to attend.  Contact Mrs. Kaminski if you are not able to attend.

Attention seniors!  Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation's ONE Application for many Scholarships is accepting applications through Tuesday, February 28th.  ONE Application is designed to save you time.  Answer a few very basic questions and the system looks at 72 local scholarships to determine which ones you are eligible to apply for.  Go to  Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation to apply.




Interested in attending a college presentation?  See Mrs. Schumacher in the Counselor's Office to sign up!  Representatives will be visiting the North Platte High School Career Center on the following dates:    University of Nebraska at Lincoln (UNL) - Tuesday, Feb. 28th @ 1:15pm and Colorado Christian University - Wednesday, March 8th @ 9:45am
