Water War: The Perkins County Canal Project
In this video, NPHS students explore plans to dig a canal into Colorado to capture water from the South Platte River. The project stems from a provision in a 100-year-old water compact.

Today we highlight Marlene Songster and Lisa Willard. Marlene volunteers in 1st grade weekly and reads with students. Lisa Willard is a retired Para from McDonald and comes daily to work with 1st, 2nd, and 4th-grade students. We are so grateful for all of the time our volunteers give to our students!
