We kicked off Mustangs Meet at our school assembly on Friday !
Every new student received an invitation to join one of our 13 houses.
We can't wait to see what this year brings for our students!
Each house family is made up of K-5 students and has their own song and secret handshake💙

Our KG team surprised the students with a fun learning project using the 5 senses on Friday.

Kindergarten was busy being detectives today to help us explore our 5 senses. We looked at I Spy books, smelled the rainbow, touched spaghetti, played guess what sound it is and got to taste popcorn! 🕵️♀️
To celebrate everything we learned during our Asian Civilizations unit, Mrs. Lane's class celebrated our own version of Chinese New Year (yes, we know we're about 4 months too early!). We decorated paper lanterns, played a review game, and learned how to write "my name is..." in Chinese characters. We are so proud of how much they've learned! What a fun day! ❤️
Mrs. Rowley's class finished up their Chinese New Year lesson and had an afternoon of activities! Students made lanterns, wrote their names, and learned about their zodiac animal!
